The Saddle, a gigantic gap in New Creek Mountain. East of U.S. Route 50 as it crosses the Allegheny Front this gap reminds one of a large saddle. Behind and to the rights of this spot stands a monument marking the site of the log cabin in which Nancy Hanks, mother of Abraham Lincoln was born.
